Hmm.
Is it bad that my brother pointed out this comic to me and said, "That is so you it's scary"?

Leafing through the papers at work, I've been seeing a lot about Britney Spears and Anna Nicole Smith, and I'm not even turning on the TV because I've heard what tone a lot of the footage takes. (okay, so I barely turn on the TV in the first place, unless it's to watch LOST. . .)

Anyway, here's some stuff I do like:

Craig Ferguson monologue.

Leonard Pitts Jr. column.

And finally, Non Sequitur.

Have I mentioned that I love this comic strip? Because I do.

Have a mini-linkspam:

Serenity Tales. [info]finniscs pointed this out to me; the Notes on a Fridge (on a Spaceship) series is my favorite. *s*

Nice little essay on math/science skills, and the importance of not 'playing dumb', etc.

Just for fun. :-)

I had no interest in The Wedding Singer movie . . . but on Broadway, with Stephen Lynch (he's insane and I like that in a person), whole 'nother story.

I'm going to have to get this soundtrack, aren't I? Yep.

Reason Number 1,329,948 why I wish I could go back to NYC.

Speaking of going places, though, mom and Chris and I are heading out this Saturday to the KC Renaissance Festival. Went last year, too-- Mom's birthday is on the 8th and mine's the 16th, so it's becoming a birthday tradition for us. :-D Pictures will be taken.

And finally, for any fellow Labyrinth geeks out there, go have a laugh.

Flipping channels yesterday, and I paused on Comedy Central for a commercial.

Me: "Did I just see Jesus, Buddha, and Shiva fighting in a cage match?"
Chris: "Yep."
Me: "Okay. Just wondering."

And speaking of random bizarre things, I think I found the comic-strip version of myself. ;-)

As a big sister, I have to say that this comic is entirely too true. ;-)

Updated to add-- I have found the comic strip versions of me and Chris.

Absolutely perfect political cartoon from D.C. Simpson

And if anybody checks this later than today or tomorrow, it's the April 11 cartoon that I'm referring to. Though all of his are worth a look. :-)

The online comic strip Queen of Wands is ending tomorrow. Afterwards, it'll be rerun on a seven days a week schedule, with commentary. If you haven't seen it before, go check it out, it's one of the best comic strips out there.

Other good ones:

As If!

Ozy and Millie (also check out D.C. Simpson's other strip, I Drew This)

Something Positive

College Roomies from Hell!!!

End comics plug. For now. ;-)
